It’s time to get excited!

Stars In The Tropics will be a the first Line Dance Extravaganza Event to be held in Cairns.

We have the pleasure of having Australia’s top female (and International Star) Maddison Glover, and the famous Lockdown Star and the very debonair Stephen Paterson hosting our inaugural event.

We are hoping people, not only come to Cairns to Line dance, but also take the opportunity to enjoy our wonderful part of Australia. We have a LOT to offer. Enjoy the slower pace of life, while being flooded with our beautiful weather, fantastic Rainforest scenery and our wonderful Barrier Reef.

The count down to the event is on with tickets for Stars in the Tropics now on sale. Grab your tickets it’s going to be a sell out. The event will be held in Cairns Showgrounds where there is room for everyone.

Stephen Paterson has choreographed 95 dances, of which 37 have been co-choreographed. 

This Born and Bred “KIWI” came to Australia in 2000 and quickly became one of the most popular teachers in Melbourne.  He has a warm gentle nature, which shows when teaching and caring for his students and others in the Line dance family. He is a proven talent in choreography and competition in NZ and Australia.  His talent was brought to the world during the Covid lockdowns in Melbourne.

He brought not only his classes to the Facebook world, but also his famous Bingo nights, drawing classes, and also, an occasional infamous Cooking classes.
